Guaging interest Flame thrower kit?

they had a mod similiar to this on Pimp my Ride. they installed it then the owner of Westcoast Customs found out and made them take it off. he said it was illegal (it looked different to say the least)

Just so nobody thinks this is true, he's just f-in with you.

These things would have the potential of blowing up if the gases aren't travelling fast enough since the flame could then travel up the exhaust and BOOM.

thats what i thought about using this with a CAT... wont ever work for our cars anyway...

i actually made a flametrower kit for a friends dunebuggy, all we did was tap one of the sparkplug wires and run it back to the exaust... the damn thing burned so rich that it got a flame all the time without shutting off a cylinder or anything. the flame was about 8 inches long too

If someone was to use this on a maxima couldn't you overcome the cat by using a Test Pipe?
