Swish Valve Actuator

does anyone know where this is?? i hear that my knock sensor is hiding behind it!!!!

It is the round thingy that is on the right side of the engine block. It has a hose going into it. Edit- yeah thats it in the picture- what happened to that engine? I also have a 99 without anywhere near the corrosion. No disrespect, just curious.

conversion

do you know if this swish thing is needed, why cant i convert from cali spec to fed spec.... cali spec is a PITA!!!!!!!!
