Mono or Bridged 2 channel

I have a 4 channel mtx for my components a 2 way rear speakers. I want to get another mtx for my ohm kicker 12" sub. i would go mono, its made for a sub and i never had a mono amp until i got my alpine, but i love it

It really depends on what your trying to accomplish. If you purchase a nice 5 channel amp you can push your entire system with it & not have to wire up mulitple amp's.
If you purchase a duel voice coil subwoofer, you might want to purchase a 4 channel amp & bridge it down to 2 channel's (1 for each voice coil).
If you go with a 4 channel amp, then you always have the option of using it for component's down the road.
Just get something that is versitale & reliable. That way you will have your equiptment last for a long time.
Whenever I make any purchase I look for stuff that is gonna last a life time, that way I never have to worry about having to buy another one.
