I have a 96 GLE and when my car starts it makes a squealing noise when I start it and it will go away after about 10-15 seconds. Do you think a belt needs to be replaced or something like that? Also, I want to get the Altezza lights for my car would you recommend Ebay or a dealer? Thanks in advance.

What side is the sound coming from? Right side is most likely a belt.

After it stops making noise, leave the car on idle and try spraying some water (with a spray bottle)on the belts one at a time and see if they make the noise again.

Squeeling sound (Eeeeee) is usually a loose belt. Any shop should be able to tighten it for very little money.

Bad starter sounds more like Aerrrr..
