ACT Stage 1 or 2
They are located in Lancaster, CA
Great high quality part's.
Some of the fastest imports in the world rely on there ACT clutch, just imagine how it would work in you N/A vehicle.

I have the same question. I'd like some more people to bake up the noob. nostrixoxide, your reasoning is okay I guess but lets think about it. Just because ACT can be good on high powered cars doesn't mean that it is good on normally powered cars. The import fact has nothing to do with it. Also, people with high powered cars can usually afford to replace the clutch when needed. I have heard good and bad about all manufacturers but would like reputations for max clutch makers. I checked MaxMods and that does seem to back you up. So I ask, do you have an ACT? If not, please withdraw from this thread because your opinion is of no value seeing as its based wholely on most likely hearsay. So, for those that do have the stage one, how harsh is it? I'm not a total newb on 5Spd but I don't want to burn up 10% of it on accident.

Sorry for placing my 2 pennies on the subject matter. Obviously I must have plenty of experience driving manuel equipt vehicles to even consider posting any form of a reply to this question.
I do have first hand knowledge of how ACT clutches perform in several different vehicles, but I do not have the pleasure of saying that I am familiar with how well they work installed on the Maxima. All I was attempting to do was help somebody who is looking for a fairly decent setup for there Maxima. I have never heard anything bad about there clutches & I have seen how rapidly there product has spread from being a small hole in the wall shop to a major player in the industry in just a few years. So obviously they must be doing something correct? So until centerforce develops a clutch for the Maxima I'm gonna stick with recommending the ACT setup for know.
Thanks for your concern I do appriciate it when other org. members do their best to maintain a tight leash on possible misinformation.
