Just curious, I did my switches in my 2K, and they look the same as your switches. I wonder what the differences are between the two years?

The diffrence is rather small, but my directions would not provide enough information to complete the job on a 2000-2001 maxima. the diffrence is that in the years 2k-2k1 they use a four prong LED. which means that there are four connections on the led to the board. on a 2k2-2k3 maxima, it is only a two prong led. this creates a problem having a 4 prong led, because you do not know which two of the four prongs you have to solder to. i didn't provide that info due to it not being relevant to the 2k2+ maximas, so if a 2k-2k1 max owner decided to take everything apart, and followed my write up, they would be stuck half way though the project.

I didn't change them.... yet. but on my old car (99 SE-l) all you have to do is use celophane to change the color of the clock/climate contol. very easy to do.
