Rear Crossdrilled/Slotted Rotors Installed

Picked up a set of the 2NI crossdrilled/slotted straight zinc plated rotors from maxed up.

Finally got them installed today. They are a little bit thinner than the stock rotors which is causing 2 things:
1.)I have to pull the e-brake a bit further than normal, but it's not a big deal at all. I think it may adjust itself over time? If not I may just try to tighten the cable a tiny bit.
2.)I'm using the OEM brake pads that were on there before. From the marks they're making on the rotors, they're not making full contact with the rotors. I'm hoping that they will get "seated" a little bit after some driving and that will change? The BBK in front still stops me just fine in the meantime.

Pics below. Overall, excellent customer service, awesome price, and decent product so far. With some adjustment, hopefully they'll be perfect soon...

Crossdrilled

I have the crossdrilled ones on my Maxima and also the E Brake I had to pull up a little further. I actually made an adjustment to make it tighter. You should have gotten yourself some new pads with the rotors.

Since my front BBK probably takes like 90% of the braking load, and all the meat left on the rear pads, I think they'll last another year...

How did you adjust your e-brake? Did you just tighten that bolt?

Theres a little bolt at the front end of the ebrake handle assembly. Turn it to tighten the tension. Ideally, you should get something like 6-7 clicks on the ebrake before you start feeling tension.

Yeah, that's the bolt I was asking about. I'm just worried about over tightening it, since you don't want the e-brake dragging...

adjust it while sitting on a slight (very slight) incline like a gently sloping driveway. If it's correct, the car will still roll. If it's over-tightened, then the car won't roll....

I guess...I'll probably play it safe and just tighten it a tiny bit. I'm assuming you turn it clockwise to tighten?

FSM says that on the first click, the ebrake light should light up. my guess is you can also use that. if it was loose, ti would take 2,3,4+ clicks for the light to show up. use that as your basis until you see it light up on 1 click.
