I want to protect my headlights

I need opinions from anyone who has sensors installed on their car.

I am going to install the data dots, bracket, and Viper Responder on Friday and would like to know if I should also install sensors. I spoke to a couple of authorized dealers and they recomended against it. I only got one suggestion from an installer and that was to put an alarm pin behind each headlight.

Do they work as advertised, do they go off for no reason?

Does anyone have sensors installed and can give me an opinion.

you could do that or you could grab a proximity sensor that pages you and tells you when someone is around your car.

i had the Viper 791XV installed this weekend, and i feel much better!

 

Does the Viper page you when someone is near your car?

Did you have to install an add-on for the sensor to work or it works with the Viper Install. I'm thinking of getting the same install you did.

 

only add on necessary is the proximity sensor. It can be hooked right up to your viper. when someone comes near your car, it will page you. real nice.
