Yet...more exhaust question...

OK, it's been talked about forever, but it's hard to back track without the search function...so I want a good cat-back for my 02 6spd, and I prefer a quieter setup yet get some hp gains. I'm looking into the Franken-car one, seems like a good deal. So any feedback? Links to previous post would be great too, I just want a good setup.
Also, would adding the Cus-max Testpipe be a good idea?

Thanks!

Hey your best bet is yo get an Greddy Evo, or Evo II exhaust. That has throaty sound that is pleasant to the ears under WOT(wide open throttle) and when your not on the gas , you can't even tell the difrrence from a stock exhaust. This exhaust has some good gains too.8-12whp depending on your condition of your MAX.

Me i am going custom race exhaust , super light ,good power and the sound will be louder than Greddy, but not abnoxiously loud. Getting that installed this Friday, i will let the Org. know how everything goes.

You on the other hand get the Greddy!

If the catback was the only mod for your exhaust, you would be lucky to get 5whp from it. You would do better with a Y pipe and intake in addition to that.

I assume the Greddy is a bit pricey no??
I go have an Ingen intake, i would like a y-pipe, but can't help to worry it being too loud
So any comments on the Franken?

FrankenCar sounds ans looks almost stock. Not a bad choice, but it wont give you the most power gains. I belive the Greddy will be loud even without a y-pipe.
