I was just looking at the intake my friend has on his 95 se, and it doesn;t get much air behind that battery. So i think it could be relocated to the middle of the engine bay where ALL that space is from where the stock airbox guts were before. It could sit VERY close to ground, and all that it would need would be tubes that are a little longer sensors, and air pressure. Anyone tried this? thanx, bye

It would be close to the ground, but also, still in the engine bay...so no big gain there. Also, when the radiator fan kicked on, it would blow very hot air right on the intake...this is bad.

Well, a ractive heatsheild would get rid of that problem, and it would not be in direct path fo radiatore, if it went down and to the left, it would clear most things, and would work pretty well i think.
