Group Deal on Technosquare chip

whats up guys. yesterday, i thought i'd buy a chip from technosquare.
the guy told me that the price was $595 then i was like WHAT~!
The guy told me that he did a group deal with maxima's like twice, 20 PEOPLE, he can do it for $380 each.

then he went on telling me that he is never going to do it again because both of the times, only half of the people showed up.

so, he told me that if i get 20 people, at the front of his door, he will give the special price of $380 again, but only if we have 20 PEOPLE.

so the point is, this may be the last group deal for the technosquare chip if anyone is interested.
i need 20 People that FOR SURE will not flake on this deal. if we have 20, then i may be asking for a down payment just to make sure that you will not flake out.
well....i will start the list here. only reply if you WILL ABSOLUTELY FOR SURE get the chip. sorry so long, i had to explain what the guy told me.

20 PEOPLE, $380 dollars for the chip.
19 or less, $595 dollars.

you guys do the math.

ill go ahead and start the list.

omg, it's TylerBorg!!! Where the hell is your motostorm udp gd!?!?

back to reality...

Peter what you need to do is go through the list of the last ts ecu gd and **** on all those didn't come through by sending their ecu in on time. We do a disservice to the fine companies that try and help us out by fooking them over when we don't follow through on our commitments. Puts 4th gens in a bad light...

yeah we must follow through with what we claim we are going to do if we are to still get these good deals. Oh yeah your car would only be down a week if you dont have an extra ecu around. Technosquare ships them back to you quick.

i have the TS upgraded ecu, it cut a .2 off my 1/4 mile times, TS is a SUPER company and if there is a performance group deal worth being apart of then this would be it 1,000 times over. For 380 this is the best performance mod for the max.

At 3500 rpms, you can tell a HUGE difference !

I cant say enough about technosquare. Their service is excellent and when I sent my ecu off for the upgrade it was back in my car in the same week and I live across the country from them.

I really hope this group deal works, I can say this. Their ecu upgrade is worth the 595 but O how that stings the pocket book. Good luck guys ! This is a winner !

I send in my Ecu on Monday morning they got it at 12:00 pm on tuesday they shipped it out at 3:00 pm on tuesday 2nd day from California to Florida i got it on Thursday 8:30 am plug it in my car and felt the difference right way. A friend of mine also drives a maxima, he drove my car that day and was in awe of the power. 10 - 15 hp/tq about the same as the y-pipe. Good luck guys.

I'm in as soon as I can get a backup ECU because I can't afford to have my car down for even a few days. I'm shopping for one online now, I should have it within a week. That shouldn't be a problem though as I don't see this deal getting 20 people anytime soon.

I don't know guys, I love to have the extra hp but for $380 it's kinda expensive for me at this point. I don't care if my car sits there for a couple of day, i don't even drive it during the week, but not ready to shell out $380 on this.

Truthfully I'm a little ****ed they charge so much when it takes them 30 min to replace a couple of resistor or whatever they do. I understand R&D is involved here but c'mon how long did they actually work on that. What about economies of scale uh?

I understand this thing works and maybe I'm going off for now reason, just a little upset I can't afford it right now. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I got in on the last GD and was glad that i did.
Went to their location and waited about 45 min. After that I recieved my new ECU with advanced ignition timing and fuel remap. The guy at technosquare said the raised rev limiter should be available in a couple of months.

Anyone need an extra ECU? P.M. Me. I have a spare 95 Auto ECU. Should work on 97 and 98s but with possible CEL.

Question, i didnt shift through the 2398320948 pages of the previous Ts thread. But my 2k2 has had NO Recall work, or TSB reprogramming. Will Ts have the latest flashes and software avail. Im speaking of the ECU Flash for 2k2's to help with hesitation. Or should i Have all the updates done, then send to Technosquare? Which way?

From my understanding the TS flash includes all the latest info from Nissan. I definitely remember reading that but just to be safe I'm going to ask TS before I send in my ECU. I'll probably go with the Limited Spec version so I don't know if the all the Nissan updates apply that version also.

this is item is overly expensive for what they are doing.
but what can we do. that is like the only price or the best price we can get.
i wish it was cheaper, but YES< they are overpricing that sucker.

oh of course, without a doubt, but what im trying to say is,
it is expensive for what they do to it.
i bet it doesn't cost them more than $10.00 to actually do it.

yeah i hear yah. But thats how every type of business is. If you cant do it yourself you have to over pay some1 to do it for you. I know it sucks but thats just how business is.

A couple of things: I got in on the last GD for this upgrade and I feel it's worth the retail price of $595; we happened to get lucky with those last two GDs. For those that are complaining about the price, I hope you'll understand the costs of running a business. Yeah, I'll bet it costs them next to nothing to upgrade our ECUs but do you have any idea how many hours of highly-trained computer engineers, mechanics, and other specialists companies like JWT and TS have to use to provide us with products like these? It wouldn't shock me if their R&D efforts were over $50K for a niche market product such as this. I also feel very very bad for the guys at TS who make this deal available to us because our members were irresponsible and failed to uphold their end of the bargain. One last thing: the guys at TS are great about communication. I called on Monday to tell them my ECU was on the way and they called me when they got it on Tuesday morning. To my surprise, they called me again Tuesday afternoon with a tracking number. Wedenesday afternoon, it was back my upgraded ECU was in my car and I was loving every second of it.

man this upgrade sounds good, i have a few noob questions really quick:
1. Are there any cons to this mod? gas mileage? or anything like that?
2. this can be done on any max right? auto or manual?

No disadvantages. My gas mileage is 27mpg 60% city, 40% highway (@ 70mph). And yes, autos and manuals can do it.

so just to be sure, this ECU will noticably increase the horsepower and performance of my car, even without the MEVI? i don't have to buy also to see an increase in performance? or is the TS ECU not good with the MEVI anyways, because of the lack of the raised rev limiter?

dont need a mevi. If your planning on getting 1, TS is planning on raising the rev limiter. Then all we have to do is send it in for Like $150 to get the rev limiter raised
