Dyno results from this past weekend with a TS ECU found here

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....99#post3018599

basically if your manual you have the potential for some big gains along with a MEVI. Went from 171 to 193 hp.

don't bother, this thread is six months and some change old, it's not going to happen. TS doesn't do gd's anymore, they had reduced pricing thru november to coincide with their finding the rev limiter but beyond that you're going to pay normal price.. no gd's..

This guy is not a good business man, whats his cost in doing a flash on the ecu? Its better to get 100 people @ say 250 than to get 5 people @ 600. WTF!!!!

but you'll never get 100 people at 250.. you get 200 people who say "oh yeah, I want it, I want it" and then 190 people who don't pay once the deal is set up..

if people on the .org weren't cheap and kept their word when they said they're in on gd's, we wouldn't have problems like this..

I think you would get plenty of people at 250, maybe not a hundred but at least 50 or more...and still another thing could be done in order to eliminate the "cheap" people is to require some kind of downpayment or deposit.

Sorry, just my .02 cents.

You guys seem to forget the hours and money spent on R&D. Specialized techs who were responsible for making this upgrade possible aren't a dime a dozen. It's kind of like pharmaceutical prices.

this isn't just a reflash for the 4th gen guys. They are giving you another piece of hardware (daughterboard) that is fixed into your stock ECU. These boards were custom made when they first produced these for the maxima and once they are gone, no more TS ecu for any 4th gen (no plans to make more daughterboards)

THIS GD IS CLOSED!!! took too long, to get another GD i will have to call him again, but i dont want to bug him about it. if you guys want, we need to make a list of for sure how many people want it, and we need to get the money together and then set this GD up.

This good for a 2002 ECU?

If I have an automatic 2002 ECU, can they convert it to a manual, reflash and raise rev cut?

If they can, I'd definately be in. Manual ECUs are so f*cking hard to find in Canada.

tcu results

I did the last GD. They were slow getting me my ecu back (fortunately I have another car). They charged me twenty something dollars for return shipping. On the other hand the car clearly picks up better and revs past 7000 rpm. So overall, I guess I'm happy.

On the delay, they said they messed up and weren't sure if their tech guy could do the rev limiter change on a 5spd - in the end they came through though.

The TS ecu upgrade is def worth it. I had it for just over a month, and loved it, but then my water pump went out and had to sell it to fix my water pump. I am willing to go in on another GD to get it again. Its def worth 380$.

I did not get a cel either. I have a 97 gxe 5spd.

I dunno if TS would be willing to do it though as they've been burned twice by org member GDs. You guys may have to include a non-refundable deposit before they take a single ECU.

We Need To Get This Going Again!!!

It seems everyone is interested in this, but as usual it comes to paying up is the problem. Advise don't bite off more than you can chew. For all the members here who are serious about getting their mods this hurts the rep of the ORG. If we can get this going put me down as #1 on the list serious moder with cash in hand

If you want to show TS you're serious, try to set something up so they receive a non-refundable deposit which will offset your total cost if you buy it.

I'd be in, but how much do they want to ship to Canada eh?....lol

BTW.... I can't believe you guys think this price is too expensive. These guys are taking what Nissan worked on, perfected and locked up and blowing it away with more efficient firmware. These guys and geniouses, and deserve every bit of $$$ for the work they've done since they don't get the credit

But ya, someone find out on shipping costs for me!

Throw me in on this. I'll lay down a deposit if needed. They have finally cracked the rev-limiter correct? I might just get the L Spec flash that SR20EN got, if they can do that for a 96' ECU.
