fianlly got my lights, but now i have a problem

ok so i finaly recived my new projector e36 series headlights. So i open them up and it has 2 labels, first says 9005, the other says H4 12v 55/60W BULB USE ONLY. so i buy myself 9005 and H4s/9003 that say wattage 60/55W and when i go to put them in they do not fit at all. I am confused did i get the wrong blubs? anyone done this before with the projects and can tell me which bulb to use. thanks. i kno pics would help but i need a host for those.

Here is a link with different bulb codes.

There seem to be 2 types of 9005s, the 9005/HB and the 9005/HB+30 which has a different base. The same applies to the 9006/HB and 9006/HB+30. Maybe this is the problem?
