What kind of paint for interior piece?

Hi. I just had an after market stereo installed, and rather than a "pocket" installed under it (since the bose system was double-din), I had them put in a drawer from a 4th gen maxima. It's the kind of drawer that you press and it opens, then you press it again to lock.

It's wood colored, and doesn't match my car at all. Id' like to paint it black to match the trim around it...but I'm not sure what paint to use. Can anyone enlighten me?

Matt

Just go to PepBoys and buy black Plasti-kote.. that'll work fine (you need to primer it first and whatnot of course)

I thought I replied to this yesterday, unless you posted another thread with the same thing

anyway, I've heard of 4th gen guys taking off the stock wood trim by heating it up (hair dryer will work) and pulling it off. Normally those things are just held on by some 3M adhesive or something.
otherwise, you will have to sand down the glossy surface before you prime and paint it
