alright im sorry if this has been asked before but how hard would it be to put a 2k2-2k3 grill on a 00-01 max?? i know that the 2k2's grill can come apart from the bumper and the 00 grill is attatched to the bumber....so im asking if i cut my OEM grill out could i use lets say a billet grill for the 2k2 model?? are the grill sizes different between models or are they the same size but just one is attatched to the bumper and one isnt??

You can get a bumper swap. I don't think any other method is possible.

 

The grill on the the 02-03 Maxima's is much bigger. The whole front bumpers are different.

 

oh yea i wanted to say that too besides just replacing the whole front bumper
but how much would that run??

 

I had to get a new front bumper and I'm pretty sure it was $225 for just the bumper and it not painted.

 

if you want to do this, you'd probably have to buy 02-03 fog lights too

 

Do as bumper swap and you'll be a lot happier.

 

oh man all that just for a better grill...geeeesh....lol yua i've always liked the 02-03 bumper better then mine it has more of an aggresive look IMO.....
