Yes it is TE.
Im probably only going to mod the exterior for now. I want to enjoy the stock engine for a while until i get bored and dont want to mess too much with the warranty.

Just FYI - I paid 19 for my '03 with 28k and everything except HLSD & Nav back in Oct. '03. Dealer was asking 23k. I shot 'em 4k lower and they bit.

Sounds like someone needs to change their screen name to MikeD03SE. (I SO regret not getting the 6MT, although my auto still pulls like a monster. )

Congrats, Mike. Maybe you, Manny and I (& maybe some others) will hookup sometime for a NJ meet.

Peace.

I strongly urge anyone looking for a 6 speed use www.cars.com and www.autotrader.com. I found mine on www.cars.com. Autotrader gives you the capability of searching for a manual transmission and cars.com gives you the ability to search for keywords like "manual". I found them very helpful when looking for the car. Its a 2003 SE 6Speed with every option except NAVI.. Im about to go find out if it has HLSD. I paid right around 20k with 24k miles. You may also find yourself paying more due to the rarity of these cars... I found one and there was 3 guys bidding and it went up to 21k and he changed his mind and decided to wait on selling.

I just PM'd Steve from SWA to see how much the rear stillen lip is for the car so I can possibly save on shipping due to the maxxtuning lip order.

I am definately up for a NJ meet anytime.. I think I saw one next week or something.. I am always up for it unless I cant due to work.

Thanks guys. I will let you know about the HLSD.

Mike

just look at the pedals. If they are AE style, then it's an HLSD.

Yeah he's right. If it has aluminum pedals with holes you have HLSD. Lucky bastard.

Unless of course the pedals were a mod left by the previous owner...

If you want to know for SURE whether your car has HLSD, check the plate on the firewall in the engine compartment on the driver's side. You'll see a transaxle code printed on the plate. If it has an 'H' in it, you have HLSD. If it doesn't have the 'H', you don't have it.

Ok, I just went out and checked the transaxle code and it does have an H in it so it looks like I do have HLSD thanks 6spmax for the tip.
