How do I get the dealer logo "sticker" off of the back of my car?
How do I get the dealer logo "sticker" off of the back of my car?
I didn't even notice the dealer logo on the back of my car until I brought it home, but it looks like a vinyl sticker kind of thing that's on there pretty good. I know if it were a badge I could use a hairdryer/heatgun and some floss to cut it off, but this is a little different. I'm thinking a heatgun will still loosen it up and I can just peel it off but I don't want to damage the paint at all. Does this sound like a good idea? I can't imagine a little heat will do anything to the paint...

Awesome page!EDIT: This page is even more detailed that I thought at first. Housecor has EVERYTHING on there!
They probably added it AFTER you bought the car...while it was being "prepped for delivery."
Here in Los Angeles, NO DEALER does that...you know why, because NOBODY would put up with it here. In Arizone, ALL the dealers do it.
You know what I'd do...take the car back to them and make them take it off. If they don't want to do it, complain to the manager and threaten to write a letter to the owners. Be sure to tell them you didn't buy the car to be a driving advertisement for their car dealer.
The people in the city and/or states whose car dealers do that just need to start *****ing about it and it'll stop.

Take it to the dealer and have them remove it. I have my dealers stickers remove
before I took possession of it. I told them I'll charge them $20 a week for
advertisement if they leave that crap on. They thought I was joking until I had
my laywer talked to them. They were more than happy to remove them from my
car. I don't like to put advertise crap on my car and I wouldn't do it for for anyone
not even for the ORG.
