Replacing Struts/Stut mounts

I plan on replacing the front struts with KYB GR2s and the strut mounts with el cheapo monroes from internetautomart.

First, is this combo okay? IIRC all the strut mounts are the same between brands.

Second, if I only replace the strut mount and boot (I haven't tested if the struts are bad yet, but I notice a loud creaking after going over large bumps), is it necessary to remove the entire strut/spring assembly? (Does it take less labor?)

Third anyone in NJ know of a good shop to go to to have them installed? I'd like some balance between price and service, and I'm not quite sure this is something I can handle myself (I don't own a torque wrench or spring compressors, and I think I'd also need to buy a few more jack stands, so it just might not be worth it to do on my own).

you can rent spring compressors from your local parts store. you don't need a torque wrench..
it'll be a pain without air tools, but it's possible.

to replace the strut mounts and boots, you will need to completely remove the strut and pull the spring off, etc (that's why it's called a strut mount)
