What would you buy? 2 infity referance or 1 infinity kappa sub?

Looking for new speakers or speaker. i have my brother xtant 10 and he is taking it back soon cause his amp is getting fixed. I have loked at either 2 extant refernce 10's or 1 kappa 12. which wuld you reccomend.

if there is any other subs around this price range that is worth checking out, please say so. all input needed.

I looked up the price of the Kappas on Crutchfield's site and the Eclipse subs in the link are about twice as much. Something similar would be the Soundsplinter RL-i. Same build house as the Eclipse (TC Sounds) so you will get the same quality. The RL-i subs are the TC Sounds standard product TC2+. It was measured as on of lowest distortion subs on the market (link) if you are into sound quality. It also has a 19mm xmax, so it will pump out the sound.

Note-I have no affiliation with that company. I have used other TC Sounds products in the past and find their quality (both build and sound) to be great. At those prices, it is a great value.

Other than perhaps a Perfect, i dont recommend any Infinity sub-Even the Perfect has subs that outshine them in the price range
