tein springs w/ stock shocks...

tein springs w/ stock shocks...

is it cool to have lowering springs w/ stock shocks........i am a NEWBIE here............

I believe that if you drop your car with stock shocks it would be a matter of time until they blow.

Living in CA, you may be able to get a bit more life out of them than say someone who lives in a pot-hole stricken area. I'm on Maxspeeds with OEM struts for about 10k now with no issues (as of now).

San Jose has decent roads at times, from what I gather. Buuut, you still shouldn't. Get Illuminas for struts.

I'd advise you to get new struts before you install the new springs. Since the Teins drop your stance a considerable amount the stock struts will probably not last long due to the different spring rates.

i had the tein s-tech with stock shocks for 4 months before i switched 2 the illuminas and the ride suked like a **** and the los angeles roads just made things worse
