question about replace the BOSE HU and speakers..
question about replace the BOSE HU and speakers..
The front 2 drivers and passengers side speakers arent working...I think they are blown, the drivers side comes on occasionally but the passengers side doesnt work at all, if I was to replace the HU and speakers, how diffucult would it be, im not really a car and electronic person. Would i have to replace all the speaker wiring also or can I just keep it.

first, read this ^ since it was only a few posts down from yours.
If you are talking about replacing the Bose with aftermarket, you can use the existing wiring, but I would highly recommend replacing it. You have to find the wiring scheme (it's probably listed in the FAQs somewhere) and then splice into the right wires. Really it's not that difficult to put in new wires, just sort of time consuming.

Also, most likely your problem is your amps that are connected to the head unit, and the two rear speakers. Mine are shot as well and im soon gonna put a new system in. My speakers sometimes act freaky and other times sound incredibly awesome. Id recommend getting all new wiring as well. Good luck.
