This thread is the FAQ for TC/SC forum. The purpose of this thread is to help new comers or members who are looking into methods of force induction for their Maxima.

Just like the FAQs for other forums, please post general question and the answer only in this thread. Please note that this thread should only have general questions. Any in-depth, how-tos, etc. should be kept elsewhere - maybe we can start a DIY/how-to stickies in the future.


some examples of general questions:
-Which is better, turbo or supercharger?
-What turbo kit is available for 4th gen Maxima? (same goes for 5th gen, 2k2+, 2k4, etc....)

I would suggest putting the question in the subject field when you post. If you have more than one questions. please post them in the message field and either bold the text or use larger font. It's easier to read this way.

for the answers, instead of posting just "yes" or "no", it would be better to elaborate by referring to a link of the similar thread that was posted.

nope, not yet.


-Will Stillen SC fit my 5th gen (2k/2k1) auto?

everything will fit but the intake. the auto tranny is too bulky for the stillen SC intake. you will have two choices:
1.use a berk intake - it has smaller filter (K&N RU-2820) and a filter adapter for the MAF.

2.convert it to CAI.
