Nissan just raped me on taking my whels off!!!!

my dad lost the key to the lug locks! yesterday i ran over a huge nail, that went in from the bottom of the tire out through the sidewall. they are charging me $68 to take the lugs off, and put regular lug nuts back on! is there anyway to go about getting them off?

there i fixed it, you happy now?

go to any tire place\ they will take the lock off for about 10-20 dollars, they have a special tool and it only takes a few sec.

You can just break it off. It is not hard and only takes a hammer. Then just replace the lug

Look in your spare tire kit, there is an order form for a spare key for your lug nuts along with a serial number, order a new key, it costs I think 20 bucks.
Or go to a tire place to get them off. But your options are probably limited since you have a car that you have to tow around. If you don't need the car for a while order the key.

And next post please try proff reading.

sorry i was at the dealer and being rushed by someone if the could use the net. i ended up just getting another set, he gave them to me for $25 for new lug nuts, and key. and they took the old ones off for $14 after i talked to them for awhile.

these things are a *****....but i guess they would help if someone tried to steal 16 inch gle rims????
that sucks that there are no options.

i tried one of those sockets that are suppose to fit any type nut or bolt and it did not work.
