tranny cooler questions?

I don't know much about these tranny coolers, but it sounds like an awesome investment for a dying auto tranny. I have a 92 SE and was wondering exactly what I should buy and where to buy it. What size will fit? What's a good brand? What's the best place to get them? Will it help out with my problem (slipping between 2nd and 3rd)? How much can I expect to pay?

if the tranny is dying you're too late in the game to get a cooler.

what if it just slips between 2nd and 3rd gear pretty rarely. Because of that, I believe the tranny is goin wayside. It could just be a small thing, a missing tooth in a gear or something. Would it maybe solve the little bit of slipping?

what do you want me to say? everything is ok and that's normal?
what if it slips when you're wearing a black shirt?

let's face it...it's starting to go. adding a cooler after the damage has been done is pointless at this point. you can do a rebuild then slap on the cooler..that would be good.

what might help...if you're slipping 2 to 3 you might want to save up for tranny rebuild. if it's rare you can TRY changing the ATF and see if it gets better. you can TRY getting a VB done or at least changing the shift solonids and see if it gets better...but firm shifts on a weak tranny will mean your tranny will fail faster.
