DYNO Results-- 3/31/01

Car: 2000 Maxima GXE 5-speed SuperCharged.
(No other mods...otherwise completely stock...even exhaust)
Dyno: DynoJet model 248...
Date: 3/31/01
Temp: 45 degrees
Humidity: 100% (raining)
Barometer: 29.7
Results:
Max Power: 246.9 HP @ 4600 RPM
Max Torque: 218.1 LB @ 6300 RPM
Adam's Excuses:
Excuse #1:
Based on the other 25 cars' results (who have dyno'ed on other dyno's) we realized this particular dyno was reading 10% less than everyone's previous dyno results.
So i figure the corrected HP to be about 260-270 HP.
Excuse #2:
I was running on my 19" rims as usual.
Excuse #3:
The MOST horsepower robbing factor was that I was STILL running factory exhaust...yes...with all 3 catalytic converters, stock y-pipe, stock b-pipe, stock muffler.
Looks like I'll be picking up at least 25-30HP once my 3" y-pipe, 3" cat & 3" cat-back are installed.
(No other mods...otherwise completely stock...even exhaust)

he's 5speed should be putting more power out.. but im sure once the exhaust is done up adam will be able to show a lil more power
