oil catch can hook up

i just got a oil catch can and the instructions say 1 hose to the engine and one to the intake. i was gonna run the engine hose to the black rubber hose that connects to both valve covers and T it off and i dont have a clue where to hook it up to the intake without drilling. how did you guys hook up yours?

If I am not mistaken, know that hose that comes from the PCV or PVC or whatever the crap is called. Connect one end to the that, and the other end to where it suppose to go. Just remove that stock hose and the oil catch can goes in between. Got it?

One hose comes from the breather part near the front manifold and then goes to the catch can, then one hose from the catch can to the intake comign in. That big hose before the throttle body on the stock intake. You might not have one welded on your charge pipe.

Don't you want the hose tapped into a non pressurized source, before the turbo.
I know there is vacuum before the turbo spools up but I don't think I would put a boost line to the crankase vent tube or pvc valve.

(I may be wrong, this is more of a question than statement)

I was under the impression he doesnt want that oil blow by back into his manifold I would not want that oil back into my clean upper and lower manifold.

Correct. One tube on the oil blow by connected to the catch can and the other tube connected to a non-pressurized source before the turbo. If it was connected to the pressurized side of the intake tract, air would be pushed into the vent tube instead of being pulled from it... unless of course their is some sort of check valve built into the catch can.

I guess if it can't be on the charge side like they say weld a piece before the compressor on your turbo it is only like 2 inches away from where I drew the one on your charge pipe before the throttlebody.

A catch can is supposed to catch the oil so it does not go into the intake manifold. On our stock maximas we do not have anything block the oil from going back into the engine.
