Do I have to pay to fix TSB after warranty?

This question is regarding a 2000 Maxima GXE that is making what I believe to be right front strut noises. It is loud and sounds as though something is loose in the front right suspension. I found Service Bulletin NTB00-030a that describes the procedure to fix it.

The car is not under warranty. Will it be fixed for free because of the TSB?

tsbs are supposed to be covered 3yr/36k. i have never had an problem of having tsb work done either under the standard warranty or now under my extended warranty. if you have an extended warranty then have it checked to see if it will cover it but if not then you are looking at paying for the repair.

if you have no warranty, you have to pay for TSB work.
a TSB is made for the service department, to make them aware of how to fix common problems. so if you know there is a TSB for a problem that your car is having, the service department already has that. they will know how to fix it, but you have to pay for it.
