not really. you can look at nissan recalls and service problem updates. i haven't seen any problems except for the starter going on them, a lot of them.
at about 55,000+ miles

there isnt anything really to look for but get it checked professionally. find out if it was in an accident by a VIN check or a mechanic. the rest is up to your opinion, whether the paint is on good condition or paint chips or dents.. good luck

Re: Memories!

Before you get a 95, look at 97-99 (if your wallet can afford so) You get a better exterior look (IMO) with the headlights, bumper, and tails. But money is tight these days. I wish I could tell the difference between 95 and 98 Maxes before my Mom got a 95. The front conversion costs a lot, but it looks so much better. Peace, and good luck.

Actually, it's a pretty well known fact that 95 front end looks better than 97. The rear end is a different story
Although 97 has better bumpers front and rear.

hey bro whats up long time no see. well if it were me i would stick with the 95 if you are looking for proformance. it has been proven that the 95 is the fastest fourth gen. delio please support me on this we had a convo on this awhile ago. but looks wise i would still stick with the 95. i personally like them cause around here all i see is 97-99 not many 95-96. im sayin get a 5 speed and o by the way if you have a 5 speed heres a lil tip that i learned the hard way..... dont pull ur e-brake and pop the clutch every day. heheheh
