Does anyone have this installed?

no. i don't like it but i'm not a fan of scoops. possibly if you bought a cf hood and had a body shop install that scoop on it, as well and do a nice 2 tone hood paint job, black and CF. maybe throw on some ghost flames while your there...tastfully done it could make your max extremly unique. or look like crap.

so...do it!

 

What if you have the body shop make it out of metal and cut your hood? Kinda like the old trans-am's had it. For some reason i dont like the carbon fiber at all.

 

Is that one of them cheap-***, fake scoops? Does the screen let air through or is the mesh just there for looks? Either way putting a scoop on the max is RICE, unless you put it over the intake I guess.

 

I would like to put it where my intake is at...but that would be a different kind of scoop...sort of going into the hood...but then I have to be concerned about water getting into my intake...unless I get a bypass :guss:

Just wanted to know if anyone did it so I can see how it looks...I'm looking for a low end mod, I'm not going to buy a CF hood right now ($350) or get me a Sarona Hood neither for over $600

 

I've seen a max with a scoop before.

 

wow i'm just amazed faux scoop on a decent car. if it was real i'd say go ahead cause then it would serve a purpose.

please find something else to "mod" that actually enhances the car.

 

Yup...not to impressed with the "look" of it...I do how ever want to get one maybe 1/2 or 1/4 that size to put on the hood where my intake sits
