Today I was talking some Nissan folks (one has worked for Nissan for over 20 years) at the track and we started talking about UDP. I stated the VQ had a damper crank pulley and shouldn't run a UDP. The Nissan tech quickly informed me that the pulley on the VQ is just a pulley. The VE and VG had damper crank pulleys. He said the VQ crank is already balanced and doesn't need a damper. He thought VQ should be fine with a pulley.

So, I stand corrected and extend a apology to you. Have you ever had any problems? Warm A/C? Dimming lights? I still don't think I'll get one, but I was curious.
