Nope, but I have Tokico Illuminas (their 5-way adjustable struts) on stock springs and they're wonderful.

Anyone with the HP? I see the Illuminas are nice, but seem to be a bit much for my application (Wife's car to haul around baby). I'd like to see if the H&R or Maxspeed springs with Tokico HP's will work for me?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but why do you need to lower your wife's car? If anything, I'd be going after comfort mods... such as keeping the stock springs but using Tokico HP's or Illuminas.

LOL... Not a stupid question I guess. Well to be honest with you, I Mod all the cars to the way I like them. For example,

Jeep grand Cherokee - tint all the way around, FIPK K&N Intake, Clear Corners and Gibson Exhaust... why? Because I like it.

C5 Corvette - I don't have time to type all of it, Let's just say Mod EXTREME!!

2002 Maxima SE - Currently just a K&N Drop in (Which is probably all I'll do as far as intake goes, since it has to stay quiet), and tinted the windows all the way around. I don't like the 4x4 look of the Maxima and it is a bit squirly, I want to tighten it up a little bit and have a sleeker sport sedan look that it should have.

She likes what I do with them so it's ok. Plus... I drive the car sometimes Hope that makes sense.

Ah, gotcha. I can't say I've tried the Tokico HPs but I haven't heard anything bad about them, so I say go for them if you're on a budget. I just love being able to adjust my struts so the car feels more responsive at high speeds (with higher settings) or soft like a cloud rolling down the road (lower settings) during normal commuting. The Illuminas are my favorite purchase for this car so far

I HAD!!! the HP's with the eibachs it handled better but was kinda bumpy. It could have been the springs but i would still go with the illuminas just so you have more control. Oh I say HAD because some f***ing A**hole stole my car last night. Thanks whoever you are.

I have HPs. I've ran HPs with both Eibach and S-Techs. They are little bouncy compared to Illuminas and they are softer than Illuminas, which I like

Ok you are saying "softer" - I assume you mean similar to the OEM Suspension.

And when you say "bouncy" - Do you mean 'Not stiff as a board' or do you mean that it hops up and down when you hit bumps like some of the cheap chopped spring Honda's you see bouncing down the road??

Please clarify....

Again, my goal is a little better handling than stock, less body roll with a similar to stock feel.

Thanks guys
