Opinions on painted calipers?????

I am going to paint my calipers this coming weekend...i decided to go with a real paint set that you mix with reactor stuff rather than going cheap with regular high temp spray paint (you don't have to remove the calipers with this set but I bet it's going to take FOREVER to do) anyways...i am thinking red paint as of now but i wanted some opinions on whether you think red or black would look better

That's a Nissan Maxima, not a Ferrari. I say black.

I'd go with black, especially with stock calipers.

Dont go with the bright colors, it will draw too much attention away from the rest of your car instead of complimenting it. Go with either metalic silver or black.

I went with metalic silver, and put metalic copper decals on them. They look great, I only wish you could see them better through my stock wheels.

Between only red and black, I vote for the black. I wouldn't want to call too much attention to the dinky stock calipers. I just painted mine (cheaped out with engine paint) and went with an inconspicuous blue, a GM blue actually and very close to the background of the forum pages. Looks clean but doesn't draw your eye right to them. The flash makes them stand out more in the photo than they really do: http://maxima.cardomain.com/memberpage/555079

I am going to paint mine Metalic Grey....Try to keep it stock looking..besides its not like are stock calipers are much to look at, why bring attention to them. On my last Nissan, the calipers said Nissan across them, so I painted them red and dremel'd the Nissan letter's so they were nice and shinny..Looked pretty cool..but for Maxima's...Why Bother!!!!!
