Should I swap my sub/mids&highs amps around

I am thinking about redoing my audio set up which would mean keeping the HU/Amps/Xover and getting new componenet speakers(maby)/cables/subs/and a new enclosure.
Currently I have a MTX Blue Thunder PRO502 running my Vega 2525 5.25" components and an Autotek Streat Machine 800x pushing a worn out AlumaPro Alchemy 12" (ohm's unknown) a ghetto home made fiberglass enclosure. The HU is an old Eclipse and I am using a MTX RTX01A 2way X-over.

I was thinking about keeping the Vega componenets and getting a new sub(s), nothing outrageous, just cheap and decent. Im thinking a single 10", maby a 12" but probably not, or 2 10's if I find a great deal.

So here is my question would I be better off keeping the MTX powering the Vegas and the Autotek on the subs?

The MTX Pro502 is rated 25x2@4ohms, 50x2@2ohms, and 100x1@4ohms. However when it was tested at the factory it made (@12.5v) 50x2@4ohms, 79x2@2ohms, and it didn't give a figure for the bridged output.
The Autotek amp is about as crappy as the manuel that came w/ it. All values are @14.4V. All it says is 200x2@4ohms, and 400x1@4ohms. I have no clue if it is 2ohm stable or what its actual output @12.5v is.

So sould I keep the amps how they are or put the quality MTX on the sub(assuming it doesn't need more power then the MTX can handle) and use the Autotek on the Vega componenets.

Thanks for any help/input.

all you can do is try it out, since all ur wiring is probably close to each other u can just swap the wiring of the speakers and figure it out from there.
