Wiring 2 amps please correct me if im wrong
ok i want to wire 2 amps, one mono block for my subs, and one 4ch for my speakers.....here is the setup
stock Headunit bose setup---goes to--->4 pairs of (+-) wires (whatever color)
that goes into a hi-low converter i forget the name but i know what it is....that then converts the speaker wire to 2 pairs of RCA's (front and rear)......
this is where i have the problem
do i split the rear speaker with a RCA splitter so that one of the pairs goes to the rear and the other one goes to my mono block amp?? or is there another way.....
im going to be taking the whole bose system out, amp and sub so i cant tap into those....
i currently only have the mono block hooked up POST stock bose amp, because before it would make a REALLY loud thump when i turned it off because the aftermarket amp doesn't gradually turn off it is an instant off.

this may be a useless post... but here is what i "think" you'd do...
NON BOSE
power wire to distrubtion block... there going from DB to both amps.. ground the amps.. and hook rca's to both amps. (and remote wire) then run speaker wire from mono amp to sub... and then hook all the other speakers to the 4ch amp... (each speaker on a dif channel)
of course that may be what you said... but anyway..
not sure on what to do w/ a BOSE setup... b/c i think bose is the devil.

I would use the output from the 4 channel amp and go to the sub amp.
As far as the thump...there might be a way to get rid of it if you still have it after hooking up just your amps and no bose stuff in there.
You are not using the stock speakers with teh aftermarket amps, are you? Not sure of your complete system. Can you give me some details and I can see what I can find out about the thump

yeah i thought i read it like that...if you did the other way you'd loose fade....but anyways no way, i going to install infinity 6.1 kappa perfects in teh front and kappa 6.5 2-ways in back.....as of now im just using the mono block my two 12s and bose speakers....when i tapped into the rear speakers, PRE amp, it thumped like crazy like earthquake style, but when my bud at Circuit city did it he did it post amp....works fine....he said that the reason i get that is because imagine the singal going going going going into the amp and all of a sudden you turn is off and it just shuts the signal off, instantly, that's why i got the thump sound.
