OEM alloy wheel

Anyone know where I can get info about the grey/silver dots on my 02 SE rims? I was told its the high or heavy spot on the rim but I need to know for sure.

They are used as a reference point in the mounting of tires and balancing...

Whoops! I thought they were just some stupid stickers on from the factory & I removed them.

Ok so when I rotate my tires how do I use the Dots to help me?

tire rotation has nothing to do with them... only mounting tires and balancing the wheel.
