Transmission Trouble? in 92 SE 5-spd

I got a 92 SE 5-speed. I just bought this car 3 weeks ago, i put new clutch, new axle boots, and new ball joints in. now my tranny is acting up. It grinds constantly especially when im driving and let out the throttle and dont push in the clutch. It slips out of first after about 3 seconds of driving, and it will now slip out of 2nd as well, not quite as often though. and just today i was goin to my friends house and i was gettin to a stop sign so i held the clutch in to brake. when i pushed the clutch in, something grabbed and made me skid to a stop. i was like..... crap. then when i stopped i couldnt get it out of 2nd gear for like 5 minutes. then it did the same thing 30 min later on the way home. When i go in reverse it does the tire locking part but i can always get it out of gear. im scared someone tell me whats goin on...

Possible that your snycronizers are shot. But with that much trouble in your tranny. I'm thinking a little more than just that is your problem. Did your engine die when your wheels locked up at the stop?

if it grinds when your driving then your bearings are shot and you need to either rebiuld the tranny or get a new one. and from the likes of it your trans could be beyond rebiulding so id proboly just get a new one
