If it's not one problem, it's another :(

Check this out. I just had my thermostat replaced a few weeks ago and since then, the car has been running just fine. I am walking into my house after locking my car and I look back and there is steam coming out of the hood! Pop the hood and I smell antifreeze and look underneath the car and I see antifreeze. Take a look around and see where the freeze is coming from and I came to the conclusion that the main radiator hose cracked. I am pretty sure when you squeeze it, it should be somewhat firm, but when I did it was very soft and I could here air coming from a crack somewhere. I felt around underneath and could feel a lot of freeze from one part so I am pretty sure it's the hose. Looks easy to change. How much we looking for a price on this tube? Anybody had this happen or gone through the process?

Edit:
Do you need to drain to coolant to replace the hose?

Top hose or bottom? Top hose not really, just be ready for mess, the bottom would poor out alot, so you should drain it.

Top hose. Alright, I'll be ready for a mess anyways. So I don't have to drain the coolant at all?

The hose is really soft and squishy.

if the hose is cracked, it probably leaked out whatever fluid would come out when you remove it anyway, i wouldnt worry too much about it, just be ready for a mess.
