Help!!!! Need Pistons And Rods For A Ve Turbo!!!!

I Need To Know If Any One Has Done The Internals On A Maxima If So What Kind Of Pistos And Rods Are You Using And $ Also Were To Find It, I What To Go 8 To 1 Compression, And I Also What To Kept It Stock Bore, Whats Best For The Maxima Any Posible Help Will Be Apreciated. Thanks, Espimax

I think you should check ebay for Z31 pistons and rods. And try some Z31 sites. You might have to bore the block a little.

Z32

You should be able to use Z32 pistons on the VE rods or you can just use the Z32 rods and pistons. the vg30e, ve30de, and vg30de/tt all have the same bore and stroke.

Z32 Rods are the same as your VE rods. Just get yourself some Z35 8:5:1 comp pistons and you are done.

I'd actually get 9:1. I thought .5 compression ratio loss made a pretty big difference on the low end, going from 10:1 to 8.5:1 will make it feel like a dog on the low end. Also, most forged pistons made for the Z32 are 9:1 from what I've seen.

i order my pistons and rod

i order the pistons from waesteco and the rods from eagle, with 8.1 comp. thanks all for the replay and help.

no problem, just make sure you crank up the boost, cause you will need it now with that low compression. I would just run a stock VE 10:1 and keep the boost below 12psi.

that`s how i blew the motor i wen to 15psi it fell great but about 145mph on 4th gear boooom she wen so now i`m doing another eng. over, i wen to 8.5:1 they did not have the 8:1 on stock, i keth you posted i`m also adding a second inline gas pump, the ttz in tank just did not cut it.

ohh i wen 15psi wen my mechanic spesificly and clearly said kept it at 8psi untill we dyno it, well i gess it is adicted!!! now i`m paying the price.

good god you took it to 15psi with out tunning it. sorry buddy but i have no mercy for you that was your own dumb fault
