So if i don't want to do that I shouldn't even bother w/ the springs? What good are they after all, will they still make a difference w/out shocks?

Eibach springs are stiff and drops the car about 1 inch, they can be used without upgrading shocks but it is recomended that you do because if you don't the shocks will eventually die faster with the new springs, so if you are upgrading springs you should upgrade the shocks while you are at it. KONI, Tokico, KYB, and some other brands make shocks for our cars. Tokicos don't last very long so don't get these. KONI's are adjustable and are stiff. I don't know about the KYB's. H&R also makes springs for our cars, they are soft and drops the car about 1.5 inches. Sprint also makes springs for our cars, they drop 2 inches. That is mostly what I know about springs and shocks for our cars, good luck on your springs.
