Its coming up pretty quickly for me - the 100,000 mile[stone] - my 95 GXE has around 99,200 on it right now. I was wondering if there is anything that I should start paying more attention to or looking out for (anything that tends to need replacing after 100k.) Any advice or knowledge is appreciated.
Oh yeah - its a 5 speed, I know that'll probably need to be taken into consideration.

Well since you've gotten nearly 100k on your car already, it sounds like you've been doing the right steps in taking care of your car. Keep up the good work and your car will take care of you.

In particular, I deviate from the owners manual recommendation in these areas:

1) change my oil every 4-5k (normal oil, not synthetic)
2) change my coolant every 15k
3) change my transmission fluid every 15k

I hope to get at least 150k out of my 97 GXE (have 50k right now).

Consider changing your brake fluid. This is a regular maintenance item on other car makes, but Nissan does not require it. Once per 100K miles would not be overkill.

I would add:

1. change the air filter every year
2. change the fuel filter every 2 years
3. clean your throttle body (and intake) with a carb/tb cleaner
3. inspect the belts (replace if you have never done it)
4. inspect all rubber components (hoses, cv boots, rubber bushings)
5. inspect and lubricate with multipurpose grease all door hinges and other metal-to-metal points.

Personally, if I were driving mostly stop-and-go miles, I would change my oil every 3000 miles.
