I saw a post on here earlier about this and thought Id share my story about it. THis just happened today. I was driving home from work and stopped to put gas in my car. I guy driving a malibu pulled up beside me as I was pumping gas and asked if my Maxima was all stock and if it was fast. I told him it was all stock (because as of now it is) and that it was "alright" as far as fast goes. So he asked me to follow him out to a place he knows about so we can race. To make a long story short we went out there and ran the quarter mile and I smoked him. Beat him by almost 4 car lengths. I just saw a post about someone saying they got beat by one and had to represent today against the Malibu to put some faith back in me for my car. Just thought id share the story. By the way the guy in the Malibu wasnt a sore loser either (Suprise) He just asked if I wanted to run em again so we did with almost the exact same result then we just talked for a while and parted ways. Well, the 2001 Malibu has 170hp, so 190hp Maxima should have no problem beating it.

 

I forgot to say that both cars were Automatics.

 

I know I shouldnt have any problems beating it but a guy on here (cant remember who it was) said that he lost to one so I thought Id just share that I smoked one.
