aw man, whats up with all them SUV/trucks these days?
Ok here's today.
I was driving back from school today on 280N
like I always do, driving slow as hell.
(a lil careful since my previous accidents)
Anyway, here I am minding my own business going about
60 MPH when some ******* in a super huge assed
truck thing decides to make a fast merge into my
lane, forcing me into the shoulder hard.
(I swear he hit me or something, I was pushed over)
Anyway, I slam on my brakes and honk and flash my
emergencies all at once, and I'm skidding out of control
on the shoulder. Lucky I'm used to skidding out of
control and i bring the car back on line.
So I pull up behind the guy, honk a few times, high beam
a few times, and try to get his *** to pull over.
Well, that doesnt work, he doesn't even pay any attention
to me. I pull up beside him, honk a few times more.
Nothing. He exits... I shoulda followed him, dammit.
Oh well, in my shock i forgot to get his license.. at least
there was no damage to my car.
When I get home from school, my mom shows me this note
that some other ******* in a truck leaves on her car.
It says: "Park under my car again and you're ****ed"
My mom says that the guy backed his stupid SUV onto
hers (tiny little junk MR2) and then drove off.
What a bastard. I hate big cars.
Sorry, had to vent.

Sorry, but....
The tranny in my 93GXE let go the rest of the way today.
I am going to trade it in tomorrow morning on the biggest of them all, a 4x4 Excursion....
Will miss the Max, but its time to get something that I can take my family of 5 on roadtrips in, in comfort.

Got the new ride
Well yes, you were right, the Excursion is the biggest ride out there, short of having a delivery van...
The dealer would not deal on the Excursion, but they did deal on the Expedition. I considered staying with Nissan and going the Pathfinder route, but really needed the 3rd row of seats.
Ended up with a 2001 Expedition Eddie Bauer edition with a built in Video system (with wireless headphones) for cheaper than the low end XLT.
I still have one Nissan left, its just not the Max.
Long live the Max!
If they decide to make a Maximum Maxima....(a really big version) maybe then I can have another one in the stable...
