Another shady ebay Maxima...

I can't believe they put 2k-2k1 GXE wheels on this 2k2 SE. They said it was vey minor damage. If you look at the dash picture you can see the passenger airbag cover is not seated right.

Hey Al!! Yeah, the car apparently doesn't look like it should, but who are we to judge how it runs. If it has been rebuilt, it must have passed vehicle inspection. Therefore, it should at least have the airbags reset..

passenger side you can tell the airbags poped out.. i wonder if the orignal owner lived.. if the steering wheel replaced liek it was and all 4 wires changed.. means tire blown, passengers /drivers face thrown in the windsheild , maybe the steering wheel broke off, all the glasses shattered, u can tell the interior was replaced.. motor smashed up...blood stains.......... it looks like very empty dark place! EVIL EVIL!

If you guys can't appreciate someone taking the time to NOTICE this kind of stuff please keep your comments to yourself. I am sure the new org member with $15,000 burning a hole in his pocket who doesn't know anything about Maxima's sure would appreciate this post. These comments have caused no harm and I still love all you guys!

Right On, i asked the seller does he know his steerling wheel and tires are not 2k2 parts.

his response .........

" i bought the car like that "

sounds like a consumer who was jipped in to buying this car without knowing the history and now is trying to get rid of it.. its kind of funny his last name is polish... so its not a stereo type after all :P

Car had minor undisclosed problems but seems fundamentally sound. Fair price.

I'm sorry, but that should be a crime. Putting GXE crap on an SE...I think the GXE wheels are an abomination...
And not to mention the other shady crap! I'd stay FAR, FAR away from that...

I agree those rims along with the rims that they put on the 85-86 Maximas has to be some of the ugliest rims I have ever seen, clearly the ugliest ever put on a Maxima.

Hey, those rims are damn sexy! LOL

I agree, salvage/other titles are scary. You have no idea what has happened to that poor Max. You can easily find another 02 max for similar $. Plus, the miles are really high for the amount they're asking/bidding.

The 3rd gen GXE/GLE rims were pretty hideous, too.

rebuilt title = crap resell /trade in value.. regardless of the condition of the car..
