I was wondering since it is the same block with different internals, shouldn't it bolt right up to out tranny and motor mounts? Would it even be worth it?

350z is RWD, Maxima is FWD totally different setups....

 

same block, same internals.... so don't change the engine

 

I put a lambo engine in mine... I especially like the gull-wing pistons, but the whole engine didn't fit in the front so I put 6 pistons in the trunk... LIKE A GLOVE!

 

i know a 350z is rear wheel drive but that doesn't change the block, maybe the motor mounts... I'm not a complete idiot... I was just wondering, I'm definitely not planning on doing this.

Oops, sorry...I forgot to mention I'm in the process of taking out the lambo engine with the gull-wing pistons and putting in a Pratt & Whitney Raptor F119 jet engine. I would have been done already but like you said, the motor mounts are different because the Raptor engine is under-mount and I have to convert it to fit my FWD tranny.

same was said for the vq35 swap into 4th genlol.

but get a 350z instead and will be better. but cutom fit a 350z IM onto vq35?
