Quiet down my greddy??

I have a stillen y-pipe and Greddy cat back and was looking to quiet it down some. I was thinking of cutting off the greddy resinator and putting on a larger one. Has anyone tried this and if so are you happy with the sound?

Why don't you go back to stock? How about just getting an aftermarket muffler?

Sale the Greddy or keep it for racing purposes, and buy the Stillen rear section exhuast. I have the Stillen y-pipe as well with the rear section exhaust, sounds really good but not too loud.
