first impressions...

so far so good. my car really isn't much louder than it was before. i think the CAI is so overwhelming that you wouldn't be able to hear an increase in noise anyway. first impression is that i got my low end back. there was a noticeable a loss in low end when i first installed my CAI. top end feels like it pulls a little bit stronger. i guess i'll really find out on saturday when i go to the track (barring rain). i'll take some pics too...the pipe is no where near the sway bar so that will not be a problem with this piece....

How long did it take you to do the install? What tools did you use? I'm thinking about getting in on the group deal and really need to make a decision soon. Also, what are the power gains supposed to be (in combination with intake)? Thanks.

how much did it cost ya too? i'm gonna do a full exhaust this summer, prolly gonna do a dual exhaust conversion if possible. Depends on my man at redline exhaust. anyway, i'll prolly get a new Y pipe and then run a Y at the end to a pair of cool mufflers. oh, did anyone ever get those headers fabricated? i remember them talking about them. OK just wonderin.
