Any 00-01 owners interested in body kit?

I just ordered the ABS Dynamics kit from one of their retailers. This kit is very similar to the Stillen Aero kit. I am going to be the quinea pig for this kit. i will show pics and let everyone know what I think of it. I just want to know if there is anyone else out there who might be interested in a kit fairly cheap. I know the Stillen kit is $800 but this one is fairly priced near $150 for the front lip and rear valence. It's less than $150 and I'm not sure if they developed the sides yet. But they too will be around $150. Just wondering if there is additional interest out there from fellow .Orger's.

I wanna see the sides. I already have the front- got it off Ebay for 105 bux My Greddy sits so high in the back that I doubt that the rear valance is going to look and fit good.

I'd like to see what it look like, a body kit would be nice on my max and if I can get away from the 800$ Stillen is asking for their kit then we may have a deal.

My front end is getting painted this week so for now the lip is not painted. I will snap a picture of it on my car in the next 2 hours or so and post it. I used to have a AE lip on my car for the last 3 years till I had a little fight with a construction horse on the highway- took the center part of my AE lip out and my custommaxima crappy fiberglass/carbon fiber hood. There is no hardware supplied with the ABS lip, I basically screwed it with some small sheet metal screws to the edged of the OE bumper and 3 more screws in the lower bumper opening. It fits OK, not as good as the AE lip but then again the AE lip is not as low and big as the ABS one.

Let me know bout the side skirts, if not I'm going to get a set of used ones off a 02-03 Max. I'm thinking of changeing the color of my car to Norago Blue - Audi S4 color, if I'm gonna repaint the car might as well the the side skirts too.

Left Coast Tuning quoted me a price of $445 Shipped for the entire body kit, he is on here look in the group deals where he has various items in there. I hadn't acted yet because I couldn't see the finished product anywhere. I will await a full install on a car.

Any comment on this ABS Plastic, compared to the stillen kits, what is the factory AE one??

Just thought I would pass along the price info.

The front lips look good to me, I'd like to see the side skirt and the rear lips any pics or link. Make a GD I'm shure many will buy. The Stillen kit is probably fiberglass which is not very sturdy, unless it's urethan then the 800$ for the kit is not a bad pricing.

Cheers

The stillen kit is pollyurethane, but still expensive. I think this is a great option for us on a budget and better then fiberglass crap on ebay. I will check with Left Coast Tuning about a group deal. Hopefully, someone can post pics of this full kit installed. Like i said I was quoted $445 shipped. I will see what his response is and if I come up with something will start a thread in the GD forum and post the link here. http://www.absdynamics.com/ only has the rear portion picture and it isn't very helpful. Anyone have this full kit installed. Please post the front lip picture once painted. Thanks

thomas, too bad you didn't wait. We're an authorized distributor of ABS Dynamics. I've already sold a few kits although they haven't been delivered yet. Also ordered one of their CF hoods too.

We're not ready to do a GD yet, although we may want to in the future. I can
tell you right now that the price I quoted you is as good as any GD would be.
The reason for this is that customers that are doing business with us right now
are among our 1st customers, and we are rewarding that new business.

I'll let you know if we want to do a GD in the future. It would be great to
have someone help handle it. Let me know also if you don't want to wait, and
want to get the kit now. Thanks!

That price is very, very good. Wish I had waited. But anyway, I got the Stillen Aero sides already painted from a fellow .Orger. My front and rear lip are on it's way(hopefully). I really hope they come in before the weekend so I can test fit them before my car goes in on Monday. Supposedly the fitment on the rear is a little off and needs to be trimmed with a Dremel. I'll see what happens. But I'm pretty positive I'm going to need to trim around the muffler anyway. I probably won't get my car back till next Friday and then on Saturday I'll install it.
I installed the sides already and it made a huge difference looks wise. I can no longer see my frame from the side. Can't wait to see these pieces.
