2K2 Bose speakers in a 2K GXE
My friend upgraded his 2k2 bose speakers for something better. So i thought it would be a good chance to upgrade from the stock clarions for cheap. i swapped the stock headunit w/ a sony mdx-mp70 receiver, which turned out to be a big improvement. what do i need to do to hook up the bose speakers and sub? is it worth the effort? or should i just stop being cheap and get an aftermarket and have (circuit city, etc.) hook it up?

So far you can do, and has been done:
- Aftermarket sub with default bose system using a PAC10 adapter or whatever the PAC number was.
- aftermarket speakers using default bose HU via a 1ohm resistor per speaker and an amp....
Can't say for sure about your scenario, but the bose uses an amp for each speaker so you will need to rig it right. I guess you can play with it on a workbench in your garage and see if it works before doing it in the car.
