this is kinda of a rip off dont you think? you can get altezza's on ebay for $100 shipped. and thoes TYC's are on ebay also for the same price your offering. now if you had the acutal crystal clear taillights you would have some buyers for sure.

i bought one of these lights two weeks ago they are not like those clear altezza'a they look better and give the car a whole new look from those other cheap looking altezza's. the clear,and carbon fiber altezza's on ebay go between $80-120 not shipped and the one that is being offered on ebay is $169 + shipping which came to $193 for me wish this gd came earlier but i am happy and my max looks different than all those regular altezza max's.and crystal clears suck if you want crystal clears break your tail lens and tape a clear plastic bag there but i suggest the tyc lights mannnnnnn

um if you say crystal clears suck, then you probably dont want Red/Clears for your 95-96 Maxima. Formula is a pair of these TYC ALL Clear Taillights + Red Paint = Red Clears

he is selling altezza's. TYC originally made all clear tail lights(no red what soever) they stoped making them a while back. you would have to use testors candy apple red i think to paint the bottom.

i dont know if they are selling the acutal rear tail lamps. they say that they are selling High quality clear O.E.M. replacement "front corner lenses" for toady's popular vehicles. i want to order them, but dont want to recieve altezza's. someone call. these are the APC All Clears Part Number 40.4074.TL

Nopi used to sell All clear tail lamps but they were discontinued.

yeah, please do clarify... the title of this thread is confusing. So these are all clears? Like, they're all white, and we paint them?

I looked at the website posted and it only had altezza/euro style maxima lights listed.

Ok, so again, the truck lights.. is that what the lights look like for our maximas? or are they the paintable ones.. i think we all are at the understanding that those "truck" lights arent what we are getting, but is that what the tail lights are made of? or are they paintable? CLEAR OR PAINTABLE....CLEAR OR ALTEZA....what is it ? lol

 

they wouldnt look good. cuz its so hard to match the Frost Color of the reverse lights. and the texture of the lense doesnt match stock ones.

 

WHy does that matter if you're replacing all 4 lenses?

sorry to continue talking about the product this seller isn't selling, but i'll be the first to say that project wouldn't be as easy as people make it out to be. if you look at the shape of the clear plastic for the altezzas, they make up the whole outer side whereas the stock ones have a black border around them that is from the housing itself. if you trimmed down the altezzas so they'd fit in this black border, then they'd most likely fit, but it's not a simple switcheroo of the outsides & paint, it would require precise trimming as well. just my opinion.

 

In other words, it aint worth it...

 

aww crap man i thought i would get a chance to get some of those look-alike clear APC lights. MAN!!!!! GRRRRR!!!

about 95% of all the member here at the org. (with maximas from 95-96) are wating for a GD from a guy in australia to get a, eom look alike, but completely clear. like the picture that killcrap posted right at the beginnig. so I don't think you will get almost anyone to buy this tails.

killcrap made everyone go insane by posting the picture of red/clears in this page. we were all screaming like girly girls, cuz we tought some new company had just started making red/clears and started a GD with out anyone know about it.

 

those new tails might actually look good when painted to match body color...
