ok this is the deal my boy has a 3gen max stock motor stock trans doing 11.9 in the 1/4 mile. on 18 inch rims. at 21-25 psi. idk what kinda turbo his got tho. but i wanan get my max around the number.

so the ? im asking is should i custom bulit my turbo or buy the custommaxima turbo kit??

 

You boy isn't running 21-25psi with a stock engine and I doubt he can run 11.9 on 18" rims and low pro tires.

But hey. With a car that impressive I'm sure you have a bunch of pics for us. I'd really like to see them

 

ok first of all i know u guys are gonna think in bull ****ting right?? i don't have any pics casue im not gonna go after the kid with a camera. plus his 30 years old...and hes got life. i see him on the weekend sometimes. at the street races we have around
here. all i was asking what kinda turbo kit should i get. plus his is on 18s casue he has a big rotor upgrade. plus trust me he told me he blow up alot of motors running at 20+ psi. so im not here 2 start any ****. just stateing the fact.

 

I don't know if it's true or not.

But 20+psi on a stock motor won't last very long. And even if he had that much power, 11.9 is a hell of a time with a FWD w/o slicks.

Like I said, I'd like to see it. You said he was "your boy". Unless you mean it's your son, it seems like you would know the guy pretty well.
